• Welcome to the online showcase of Sr. User Interface Designer, Bill Judge.

For the last eight years, I've designed stunning, easy-to-use websites and applications for businesses and non-profits of all sizes, including several Fortune 500 companies.

The products I create are the result of a rich, multi-disciplinary creative and technical background, a commitment to sweating the small stuff, and a firm belief in simple, yet inspiring design, web standards, and usability.

I help businesses solve problems and engage customers to achieve real, quantifiable, sustainable results. But don't take my word for it - see for yourself!

    Enjoy! Bill Judge

  • I'm passionate about my work, and I do it well.

I've built my experience by designing, developing and supporting websites and applications for well over 100 local, regional and national businesses and organizations.

I currently fill a lead support role with The Kroger Co., providing administration and technical support for Kroger's family of consumer sites. I also held a key role in the redesign, rearchitecture and relaunch of these sites beginning in 2007, providing creative direction, user interface design and front-end development in support of the relaunch.

I recently joined the Kroger UI Center of Excellence, a multi-disciplinary team of UI and UX Designers, Usability Engineers and Software Developers focusing on developing assets to promote consistency and reusability for the design of Kroger websites and applications. Among the projects I've been involved with include the visual redesign of Kroger's company Intranet, and a lead role in the development of a web accessibility roadmap for the Kroger enterprise.

  • A small sampling of projects from 2005-present.

    Kroger Intranet

As a User Interface Designer with the Kroger UI Center of Excellence, I produced the new visual design for Kroger's corporate Intranet, guiding an iterative design process from concept to delivery of the approved design. Deliverables included graphic mockups, a style guide, and HTML/CSS prototype. Additional details will be provided once implementation is complete.

    Kroger.com Localized Content

Recently, I designed the user experience and user interface for delivery of targeted, local content to anonymous kroger.com users. Deliverables included functional specifications, graphic mockups and a UI specification document. Additional details will be provided once implementation is complete.

    Kroger.com Customer Loyalty

I redesigned the user experience and all supporting user interfaces for a redesigned customer loyalty experience available in Kroger’s core consumer sites. I delivered over 40 detailed wireframes of key pages and interactions, including: customer sign in/registration, account management digital coupons, shopping list, recipe box and meal planning. Various components of this experience are in the process of being implemented.

    Kroger.com Help Content

    Kroger.com Help Content

Kroger.com is an interactive, feature-rich consumer site providing customers with store news and events, special offers, online circulars, digital coupons, recipes, and more. I was responsible for the user experience and page design for this series of pages that were designed to help registered kroger.com users complete common account management tasks.

    Aglamesis Brothers

Aglamesis was cited by Bon Appetit magazine as one of the last remaining authentic ice cream parlors in the United States. While under the employment of NetCrafters, I was fortunate enough to take the lead role in the redesign of Aglamesis.com. The two design concepts I produced are included below.
